The primary services offered by Sirius are blockchain, storage, streaming, and Supercontract. However, its unique architecture enables more services to be added in the future, without any compromise on performance. They are managed and governed by a robust set of consensus protocols to ensure the integrity of the network along with measuring, validating, and incentivizing the decentralized workforce to prosper and grow in scale.
By parallelizing these services and protocols into manageable yet distinct layers, Sirius is flexible, easy to adopt, fast, and secure. All packaged within an all-in-one extensible framework, the Sirius ecosystem is ideal for DApps, DeFi, NFTs, Web3, and more.
The Sirius project began in April 2018, with the Sirius Chain genesis block launching on September 25, 2019. In 2021, the platform’s design and tokenomics underwent a major revamp to support a more dynamic and scalable infrastructure for the storage, streaming, and Supercontract service layers.
