Sirius Chain Harvesting
Remote Harvesting
Node owners use a remote account to act as a proxy to collect harvesting fees for the primary account. This avoids revealing the private keys of the primary account.
Remote Delegated Harvesting
Harvest without owning a node by requesting another node to harvest on your behalf. Like remote harvesting, this method uses a remote proxy account.
Local Harvesting
Node owner configures the node with the necessary harvesting properties. Private keys may be compromised if the node is accessed by third parties. We strongly discourage this method of harvesting.
MetX Harvesting & Dock-Staking
Harvesting
Holders of XPX may pledge XPX tokens for harvesting. MetX is rewarded based on a pure Proof-of-Harvest of XPX.
Dock-Staking
Commit to a quantity of XPX for an indefinite amount of time and withdraw with a 30-day notice. This can be done using XPX that is staked for MetX harvesting.
